Walk with a Doc - Free Health Event

Calling all pre-health students, or those interested in keeping their health! "Walk with a Doc" is a national movement that encourages good health by promoting exercise in a 2-3 mile walk, while also offering professional health advice from physician volunteers in the community.

This is a free event hosted by the Humboldt Del Norte Medical Society. The first walk will take place Saturday, October 27th in the Redwood Park (staging area/main lawn) at 11:00 am.

A family friendly event with live music, educational workshops, activities, local food, an upcycled costume contest, face painting, story telling and more. Bring a pie to share for our pie potluck!

Humboldt Symphony

Fulkerson Recital Hall
The Humboldt Symphony performs Bach cantatas featuring 3 student soloists, Bizet's "Carmen" and Copland’s “Our Town,” plus an original composition, “Prelude and Dance for the Day of the Dead” by student Justino Eustacio Perez. Conducted by Paul Cummings, produced by the HSU Music Department. Student soloists Ana Cruz, Rachel Kamradt and Anna Coleman are featured in the photo.

Halloween Costume Dance Party

The Depot
Join the ghoulish girls of GAO and celebrate Halloween with an epic costume dance party. DJ Julz will be playing Top 40, Latin, hip hop and more. There will be a costume contest and raffle with winners receiving gift cards to local businesses. There will also be a goody bag sale and spooky photo booth.

All money raised will go towards the Women of Color Conference hosted by Pi Chapter of GAO in the Spring and to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eureka.
