Private Pilot Ground School
Time: All day-Wednesday, December 12th
Description:
Always dreamed of flying for fun, as a career, or are you just interested in aviation? Here is your opportunity to take the first step. The Private Pilot Ground School class will provide you with the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the Federal Aviation Administration written examination for a Private Pilot certificate. This is a beginner's class and no prior knowledge or skill is required.
The class will cover aerodynamics, instruments, navigation communications, weather, performance charts, flight operations and other subjects required by the FAA as a foundation for all aspiring pilots. Books and materials will be discussed and may be purchased at the first class meeting. Please bring a highlighter and simple math calculator to class.
Additional Public Info: Class will meet Wednesdays, 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm & Sundays, 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm. Class ends on a Wednesday. Pre-registration is required. Class will not meet during Thanksgiving break.
Price: $285 HSU Students, $300 All Others
