Dr. Mahesh Rao

Associate Professor Remote Sensing and GIS

My teaching and research interests focus on applications of geospatial technologies such as Remote Sensing and GIS in the field of natural resource management. Specifically, I am interested in evaluating long-term environmental benefits of conservation practices. Other research areas include land use land cover mapping and change analysis, plant stress detection using remote sensing techniques, and carbon sequestration.
