Jacque­line Honda Ed.D.

Dr. Honda is cur­rently the Direc­tor of Insti­tu­tional Effec­tive­ness and Assess­ment at the Uni­ver­sity of Hawai’i-West O’ahu, and over­sees both Insti­tu­tional Research and Assess­ment efforts. Dr. Honda also serves as the Direc­tor of the HSU IR Grad­u­ate Cer­tifi­cate and the pri­mary fac­ulty for PSYC 550, 551, and 552.

Dr. Honda holds a bach­e­lor degree in Japan­ese Stud­ies from the State Uni­ver­sity of New York, a Master’s in Asian Pacific Lib­eral Arts from the Uni­ver­sity of San Fran­cisco, a Master’s in Demo­graph­ics and Social Analy­sis from the Uni­ver­sity of Cal­i­for­nia Irvine and a Doc­tor­ate of Edu­ca­tion from the Uni­ver­sity of Cal­i­for­nia Los Angeles.

Dr. Honda has an exten­sive back­ground in insti­tu­tional research and as a fac­ulty mem­ber. She has expe­ri­ence work­ing in the Cal­i­for­nia Com­mu­nity Col­lege, Cal­i­for­nia State Uni­ver­sity, the Uni­ver­sity of Cal­i­for­nia and the Uni­ver­sity of Hawaii. She has taught at both at the Uni­ver­sity of Hawaii, Manoa and at Hum­boldt State University.
