Dr. Jacqueline Honda Ed.D.
Dr. Honda is currently the Director Office of Institutional Research & Planning and holds the position of AVP for Retention & Inclusive Student Success at Humboldt State University. She leads HSU’s efforts to improve inclusive student success and is overseeing a restructuring of co-curricular and academic support units such as the Learning Center, Career and Advising, EOP, the Multicultural Center, Native American support programs, freshmen mentoring and implementation of the new early alert system together to better serve HSU students.
Dr. Honda holds a bachelor degree in Japanese Studies from the State University of New York, a Master’s in Asian Pacific Liberal Arts from the University of San Francisco, a Master’s in Demographics and Social Analysis from the University of California Irvine and a Doctorate of Education from the University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Honda has an extensive background in institutional research and as a faculty member. She has experience working in the California Community College, California State University, and the University of California systems. She has taught at both at the University of Hawaii, Manoa and at Humboldt State.
Dr. Honda currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Association Institutional Research and has been nominated for the Board of Directors for the Association of Institutional Research.
