This series of online courses intro­duces prospec­tive and cur­rent fac­ulty to the roles and respon­si­bil­i­ties of teach­ing in higher edu­ca­tion and specif­i­cally addresses teach­ing, learn­ing and tech­nol­ogy issues in the col­lege class­room. Red­wood Writ­ing Project

RWP pro­vides inser­vice pro­grams for expe­ri­enced and pre­ser­vice teach­ers as well as beginning-teacher and youth writ­ing pro­grams. Rooted firmly in a teachers-teaching-teachers model, the project mar­shals the best writ­ing teach­ers of all lev­els, kinder­garten through col­lege, to share their best prac­tices with other edu­ca­tors. Cal­i­for­nia Geo­graphic Alliance

CGA pro­motes geo­graphic edu­ca­tion and aware­ness among Cal­i­for­nia teach­ers, stu­dents and the pub­lic. This pro­gram helps edu­ca­tors pre­pare stu­dents to embrace a diverse world, suc­ceed in a global econ­omy, and stew­ard the planet’s resources.
