The Eco­tourism Plan­ning & Man­age­ment Cer­tifi­cate Pro­gram is com­posed of three courses equiv­a­lent to an optional 10 units of aca­d­e­mic credit.

All three courses may be taken online.

The pro­gram is designed to be com­pleted in only one year. Course 1 begins in the fall, Course 2 in the spring and Course 3 in the summer.

  • prin­ci­ples of ecology-based tourism
  • the role of eco­tourism in com­mu­nity development
  • sus­tain­able archi­tec­tural and site designs
