About the Club

The Society for Women in Math and Science (SWMS) is a new student club on campus and we are enthusiastically creating ideas that SWMS can represent and grow upon. Our mission is to empower the community of women within Humboldt State University’s College of Natural Resources and Sciences by creating a strong support system, allocating resources to enhance academic performance, and educating the general public on matters concerning the current inequalities and oppression of women attempting to thrive in the math and science fields.
