Students for Global Health
MISSION STATEMENT:
Students for Global Health is a service-based organization dedicated to fighting the growing health disparities both locally and internationally. We are focused on supplying humanitarian aide to resource-poor locations around the world, as well as utilizing our nursing skills to assist needy families within our own community.
About the Club
Internationally, we are currently focusing on providing supplies and funding to the Edward Ulzen Memorial Foundation in Ghana. Although at times we may support religious-based organizations in the fight for Global Health, we as a club have no religious affiliations, and all funding and care provided will reflect this. All donations of clothing will be shipped directly to the organizations or brought there by volunteers. All medical supplied donated will also be shipped directly or brought there via volunteers. All financial funding will be sent directly to the organization to be used exclusively for medical care, food, and shelter. Locally, we are volunteering with homeless families in Eureka, providing health related education, support, and assistance.
