Sociogical Student Association
The Sociology Student Association (SSA) is an organization of Sociology undergraduate and graduate students who work together to plan film series, service projects, social action events and fun social events that provide an opportunity for the students to get to know each other and faculty in a more informal atmosphere.

Membership Qualifications
Anyone can join! The club is open to undergraduate/graduate sociology majors and minors as well as non-majors. If you are interested in joining the club we ask that you register for the club on the clubs and activities website. We also ask that you join a committee.
Committee Members Responsibilities
• Committee Members are required to attend at least 2 club events a semester (this does not include tabling for recruitment).
• Committee Members are also required to commit at least 4-6 hours a semester to help recruit, promote, or prep for club events.
• Are responsible for attending committee meetings.
• Reviewing and understanding the clubs and activities guide.

. Stop by the table in the quad on Wednesday’s from 11am-2pm. Also if you are interested in joining a committee, please contact the Chair Person via email. To join committees without assigned chairs, please contact the club president.
