How to Join

One of the primary concerns of Lambda Theta Alpha has been and continues to be the growth and diversity of our sisterhood. For this reason, we established the “Interested Ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha” as an alternative to Rush. We take great pride in our group and devote much time to its success and orientation.

As part of the interest group, potential members have the opportunity to interact with each other, sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha, and other organizations on a social and professional basis. Being in the interest group requires dedication and a sincere desire to not only learn about our sorority and diverse culture but to effect change in the community through service and activism. By working together in fundraising and community service activities, a close knit bond is formed that makes the transition into our sisterhood a unique and memorable experience.

Past interest groups have attained high levels of success and have gained essential insight as to what Lambda Theta Alpha is— an organization…a Sisterhood…based on Unity, Love and Respect… and dedicated to the empowerment of minorities and the universal woman through her education, a love of culture, the disenfranchised and her surrounding communities.
