Entrepreneurs Club

We seek to foster learning about innovation, creativity, social responsibility and entrepreneurship while facilitating friendships between a diverse group of people who have similar interests. Looking to develop aspiring entrepreneurs into motivated, ethical & dynamic leaders.

About the Club

Come join the entrepreneurs club for an article discussion at Blondie’s Food and Drink OCTOBER 6, 2011 at 5pm!

We will be discussing a HBR article titled, The Big Idea: The Sustainable Economy. You can pick up your copy on Nancy Vizenor’s office in Siemens Hall 127 or send us an e-mail at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and we will send you an electronic copy.

The Entrepreneurs Club is an on campus resource for students, faculty, and community members who have passionate ideas and need help getting started. The E-Club is an interdisciplinary club, all majors are welcome because anyone can be an entrepreneur.

Throughout the year we enjoy hosting events such as, article discussions, speakers from all over the country, and getting involved in community projects. Last year through the Institute for Entrepreneurship Education we co-organized HSU’s first ever Symposium on Social Entrepreneurship. It was an all day event with speakers and workshops available to the students and community members!

This year we hope to expand our club and become more involved on campus and in the community . Our main goal for the semester is to attend the NetImpact conference in Portland, OR at the end of October. NetImpact is an international organization that provides invaluable resources and opportunities for young entrepreneurs. With that said we are exploring the opportunity to start a NetImpact chapter here at HSU. If you are interested in finding out more information about NetImpact or the Conference in October, click here.
