Standards and criteria for RTP by department/ hiring unit are linked below. RTP standards are reviewed on a five-year cycle, and are in different stages of review as indicated.

Criteria and Standards - Approved

Candidates for retention/reappointment must use these standards. Candidates for tenure or promotion may use these standards or immediate prior approved standards, if changed within the last two years.

Criteria and Standards - No Longer Approved

Candidates for retention/reappointment use Appendix J. Candidates for tenure and/or promotion may use Appendix J or these standards, if expired within the last two years.

No Department Standards

All candidates must use Appendix J.
