Clery Act Report
As a recognized California law enforcement agency, Humboldt State University Police Department is required to report crimes to the Department of Justice on a monthly basis. Statistics for crimes, arrests, property loss and recovery are reported simultaneously to the California State University Chancellor's Office.
The Clery Act Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 established a minimum standard for the disclosure of campus crime statistics. While Humboldt State University in the past has consistently published the campus crime statistics locally, and sent them to the Chancellor's Office and the Department of Justice, the format available here represents the format required by the Clery Act Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act. The information here is that which is most currently available.
